About Shutter+
Made by photographers who got tired of clunky camera apps.
We're Kalina and Grzegorz, and we love travelling to secluded places — and capturing beautiful moments while we're there. Sometimes, when no one else is around, it's hard to get a perfect picture of both of us.
We built Shutter+ to make our own travel photography easier. It started as a passion project after a visit to the Swiss Alps, and it's since become a faithful companion on countless trips — we even used it to photograph our engagement. Today it's a single app that puts full wireless and USB control of Sony, Canon and Fujifilm cameras right on your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
Photography guides by working photographers
Our tutorials aren't written by a marketing team. Recent photography guides — on panoramas, focus stacking, exposure bracketing, histograms and more — are written by Ian Middleton, a British travel and landscape photographer whose work has appeared in EOS Magazine, Lonely Planet, Bradt Travel Guides and The Guardian, and who was a runner-up in the travel category of the 2014 Professional Photographer of the Year awards.
