Shutter+ 5.0 is out now, a major update to the camera remote app for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. It brings Sony, Canon, and Fujifilm support to every Shutter+ app, alongside a more refined iPad experience, a new waveform monitor, and improved wired tethering.

Shutter is now Shutter+, making the app easier to find and marking a new chapter in its life: one purchase now unlocks every supported camera brand.
Every camera brand in every app. All Shutter+ apps now control supported Sony, Canon, and Fujifilm cameras and receive the same features, camera support, and updates.
Waveform monitor. A new tool for precise exposure and tonal control, joining existing video monitoring tools: histogram, zebras, false color, focus peaking, and LUT previews.
A better iPad experience. Improved iPadOS windowing makes Shutter+ work more naturally across window sizes and modern multitasking workflows.
Broader camera support. Shutter+ now supports the Canon EOS R6 V and Sony a7R VI, alongside updated compatibility with recent Fujifilm firmware.
Higher-quality Canon live view over USB. Canon photographers get a sharper, more detailed live view while shooting tethered over USB.

Speed and reliability. The app holds its connection even as you switch between apps or lock your screen. Shutter+ automatically manages Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antennas for the best wireless performance.

Shutter+ 5.0 is available now on the App Store. Pricing is unchanged. A single purchase works across all supported camera brands and iOS devices, including Family Sharing. Existing users receive the upgrade at no cost.

Shutter+ remains available as three separate App Store apps so older subscriptions and lifetime purchases continue working without interruption. All three apps receive every update and support every compatible Sony, Canon, and Fujifilm camera. New users can choose the app named for their current preferred manufacturer and still receive complete camera support.
