Unable to Join the Network
This error appears when iOS fails to join your camera’s Wi-Fi network.
Fixes
- Tap “Try Again.” This often resolves the issue on the second attempt.
- Make sure the camera is ready. The camera must be in its “Waiting to connect” state, actively broadcasting Wi-Fi. If you waited too long, the camera may have timed out — restart its Wi-Fi.
- Try joining manually. Go to iOS Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to the camera’s network directly. Then return to Shutter.
- Forget and reconnect. In iOS Settings > Wi-Fi, tap the info button next to the camera’s network and select “Forget This Network.” Then try connecting from Shutter again.
- Check camera settings. Some cameras have an “Always Connected” or similar setting that keeps Wi-Fi active. Enable it if available.
